About North Minneapolis

The north Minneapolis community is predominantly African American, and it stretches over 13 smaller neighborhoods, where The Harvest Network of Schools is located.

While the city of Minneapolis has seen much prosperity, growth, and opportunity, north Minneapolis has been historically and presently underserved. As a result there are wide-ranging disparities in income, access to housing, education, healthcare, and jobs.

Our location in this underserved community is a strategic investment in its people and the community. We see access to a world class education as a lever to transform north Minneapolis into a place of hope and opportunity.
